Qualifikationen

• Must have clinical social work expertise in inpatient settings and be able to assess psychosocial factors affecting care and research participation.
• Experience conducting psychosocial assessments to inform care planning and research protocols.
• Proven ability to coordinate safe discharge planning and linkages to community resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy as part of comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to address psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Identify barriers to care and advocate for resources to maximize adjustment to research protocols.

• Perform psychosocial screening, assessment, and treatment for patients, caregivers, and staff.
• Complete psychosocial assessments to identify stressors impacting coping and protocol requirements.
• Coordinate with community agencies to arrange needed services.
• Identify gaps in service and recommend steps to maximize patient care and meet treatment goals.
• Develop knowledge of state/local resources to assist patients with community access.
• Identify patients' financial needs and participate in determining available resources.
• Consult with Clinical Center departments on case referrals.
