BayRidge Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, provides substance abuse and mental health treatment, along with inpatient and outpatient services.

This is a Department of Mental Health (DMH) licensed hospital with 62 adult psychiatric beds.

The Inpatient Social Worker is responsible for planning and delivering safe and therapeutic treatment to patients, ensuring efficient resource utilization through collaboration with patients, treatment teams, insurers, and community supports. Plans individual and group treatments to meet patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in social work required with a current valid Massachusetts license.
• LICSW preferred.
• New Graduates encouraged to apply.
• Unlicensed individuals may be hired with the expectation to obtain a valid Massachusetts license within 3 months.
• Competent in individual case management, managed care, de-escalation/restraint techniques, motivational interviewing, and short-term treatments.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Organizational skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
