Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center in Macon, Georgia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services in a dynamic inpatient acute care environment at a Level I Trauma Center. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing needs, while preparing for the next level of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience with FEES and MBS preferred; PMV certification preferred.
• Current state license or eligible for licensure; CCC-SLP or CFY status acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for pediatric and adult inpatients.
• Provide diagnostic/therapeutic services for communication, cognitive-linguistic, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
• Participate in regular rounds, staff training, and team education.
• Offer education to patients/caregivers and act as consultant to other services.
• Maintain quality care while supporting 365-day coverage and weather-related continuity.
