Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, education, triage and various nursing interventions.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable rules in the state of practice.
