Job summary

Exceptional Healthcare Inc. in Yuma, AZ is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care. You will create, follow and update treatment plans, monitor vital signs and collaborate with physicians, families and patients to ensure optimal outcomes.

Inpatient Registered Nurse: PRN job at Exceptional Healthcare Inc.. Yuma, AZ.

Exceptional is looking for extraordinary Registered Nurses for a 9-bed unit with telemetry capabilities.

Nurse Responsibilities:

• Create, follow and update treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
• Provide nursing advice and emotional support.
• Be an effective team member or team leader
• Patient and Family Education
• Collaborate with physicians, family and patients to provide optimal care
• Train new nurses.

Nurse Requirements:

• At least 2yearof recent experience as an acute care RN.
• Ability to think and act critically
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Patience with difficult patients.
• Compassion for all patients and family members
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self starter and CAN DO attitude a MUST.

Requirements:

• License to practice nursing in the state of AZ required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• A minimum of oneyear of inpatient, PCU, tele, or similar hospital experience
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
