Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient care. The RN will assess patient status, interpret monitors, describe disease processes, and develop care plans.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe medication administration, advancing nursing care per facility policies, and collaborating with the care team. A valid RN license, BLS/BCLS, and ACLS/PALS as applicable are required within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of acute care and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment or current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or current.
• PALS certification within 90 days if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s status according to policies and procedures.
• Interpret information from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Describe underlying pathophysiology of diseases.
• Provide nursing care and monitoring per policies and procedures.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 rights.
