The role includes participation in a Nurse Residency Program focusing on leadership and professional development, with mentorship and educational resources provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a specialty nursing program with the ability to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Participation in Nurse Residency Program with leadership and professional development resources provided.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, execute, and evaluate nursing activities based on unit standards and scope of practice.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Provide direct care through treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate intervention outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives within the unit.
