Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive, safe, and cost-effective patient care across the age continuum.

Under minimum supervision, you will supervise team members, apply the nursing process, and contribute to a positive work culture. Requires NC RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program; BLS at hire, ACLS/PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current and active RN license in the State of North Carolina.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• A minimum of 1 year of medical and/or surgical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, safe, effective nursing care across all ages.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide supervision and guidance to other team members; may act in absence of manager.
