Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking an RN Registered Nurse in Inpatient - Intermediate Care. This night-shift role offers a 0.90 FTE and a $5.00/hour night differential, with a 7:00 pm–7:00 am schedule.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates, along with tuition discounts for employees and eligible dependents. The position requires a nursing degree, active PA RN license, BLS, and ACLS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• RN experience required (minimum 6 months).
• BLS certification required prior to orientation. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medications; monitor for reactions and side effects.
• Maintain accurate reports and records; advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
