Job summary

GRMC Garrett Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care in an inpatient setting. The RN will apply the nursing process, exercise independent judgment, and ensure quality patient outcomes across life span.

The role requires licensure in the state of services, BLS within 30 days, and at least two years of RN experience. Night shifts and 36 weekly hours with non-exempt status are included.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state where services will be provided or a multi-state license through eNLC.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Two years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes patient diagnoses, problems, and goals with the healthcare team.
• Acts as a resource for patient and family learning needs.
• Coordinates with the interprofessional team to manage priorities.
• Provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered care as an independent team member.
• Mentors colleagues in clinical knowledge, skills, and judgment.

• Leads interprofessional teams to collaborate and consult effectively.
• Designs innovations to improve patient outcomes.
• Assists other nurses to develop research skills.
