Qualifications

• 2 years of inpatient acute care nursing or Emergency Department nursing
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure
• BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC
• Maintain clinical competency and continuing education
• Ability to read, write and speak English

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the inpatient setting.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritizes patient care needs based on acuity and established protocols.
• Monitors patient progress and response to interventions, including medications and procedures.
• Ensures accurate documentation and effective transitions of care (admissions, transfers, discharges).
• Participates in order completion, patient education, and discharge planning to promote outcomes and throughput.
