Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical Intercare team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. You will provide direct nursing care in a 42-bed Medical Step-Down Unit, work 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Qualifikationen

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Diploma in Nursing required; ADN/BSN also acceptable.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 42-bed Medical Step-Down Unit.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in clinical condition.
• Monitor patients continuously using cardiac, vital-sign, and bedside hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Provide 24-hour surveillance of hemodynamic monitoring equipment and recognize abnormal readings or trends.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and deliver individualized patient care.
• Educate patients and families, promote safe transitions of care, and support positive patient outcomes.
