Job summary

VA Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient care across medical/surgical and telemetry units. The role requires appropriate nursing education, current licensure, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, administer medications, implement care plans, and contribute to improving patient outcomes while adhering to Veterans Affairs policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required for written and spoken communication
• Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program with appropriate licensure
• Active state RN license or eligibility for licensure as required by VA
• Foreign education evaluated for equivalence when applicable

Responsibilities

• Deliver fundamental nursing care to inpatients
• Administer medications and procedures per policy
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient education and outcomes
• Participate in pre-employment and licensure processes as required
