Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care for hospitalized patients in Seattle. You will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor progress while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will guide discharge planning, educate patients and families, and uphold clinical excellence with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification upon hire date.
• CPR certification required every two years or per policy.
• Certifications may be required for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and monitor conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust care plans.
• Prepare patients and families for discharge to home or other settings.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and compassionate patient care.
