Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients in the Seattle area. You will assess needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor conditions while coordinating with physicians on care plans and discharge planning.

The role requires a WA State RN license and 1+ year acute care experience; CPR is required, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license
• One or more years of RN experience with acute care patients
• CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work
• Other certifications may be required for specialty areas
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, skilled nursing services to hospitalized patients
• Assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
• Prepare patients and families for discharge, whether to home or another care setting
• Ensure the best possible outcomes through compassionate, patient-centered care
