Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state where services will be provided or multi-state license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• One year of registered nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s individual needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members & healthcare consumers.
• Influences policy to promote safe patient care.
