Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentor staff; participate in quality improvement.
• Document care in the patient record per guidelines and policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure patient safety through 5 safe practices.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care and re-assess patient needs and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and during handoffs.
