Our Registered Nurse will provide patient care for all ages in compliance with policies/procedures and the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State they are in. Performs detailed head-to-toe physical assessments and psychosocial evaluations upon admission, with ongoing reassessments in accordance with physician orders, patient condition changes, and hospital policy.* Develops, implements, and continuously evaluates individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices and organizational standards. Prioritizes patient care needs based on acuity, clinical judgment, and established care protocols.* Monitors patient progress and response to treatment interventions, including medications, therapies, and procedural care. Recognizes and responds appropriately to changes in patient condition, including escalation of care when clinically indicated.* Coordinates and facilitates diagnostic testing and procedures, ensuring accurate patient preparation, timely execution, and appropriate follow-up on results. Accurately collects, labels, and processes specimens in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policy.* Provides ongoing patient and family education related to diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and disease management to promote continuity of care and optimal outcomes.* Ensures safe transitions of care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, with thorough handoff communication and documentation.
