Qualifications

• RN experience (minimum nine months)
• One year ED experience or Kaiser New Grad Internship in ED
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS required at hire
• ENPC or PALS within 6 months of hire
• RN license in Oregon
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using multi-system assessments and identify deviations from normal.
• Develop individualized nursing plans of care and coordinate with hospital departments and community agencies.
• Initiate and document care according to physician plan; administer medications accurately.
• Evaluate patient responses and participate in unit quality assurance activities.
