Sanford Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care using the nursing process in the Day Unit for patients 17+. The unit, open weekdays, handles elective surgery and interventional radiology prep and discharge planning.

Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional teams, applying nursing standards with competency across all care phases. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates; a 36-hour work week with a day shift is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with physicians to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and standards.
• Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate care, patient assessment, education, triage and other nursing interventions.
• Functions within the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure rules.
