Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Unit (Days, Full Time) with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The RN will provide comprehensive, safe, age-spanning nursing care on the unit, under minimal supervision, following hospital policies and nursing standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NC RN license, BLS at hire, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and at least 1 year of medical/surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written).
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS/PALS within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care across the age continuum.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide supervision and guidance to other team members.
