Job summary

WMCH Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. You will modify plans, use evidence-based practice, delegate and verify care with the interprofessional team.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or multi-state license through the eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and family involvement.
