The role involves comprehensive assessments, patient education, discharge planning, and direct care with a focus on collaboration with physicians and interprofessional teams to meet patient needs in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a specialty training program is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, plan care, provide and evaluate outcomes to ensure safety and quality.
• Deliver direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Educate patients and plan discharge with ongoing follow-up.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• Participate in safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
