Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting at Tuomey Hospital’s Recovery Room. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while adhering to safety, confidentiality and policy guidelines.

The role requires comprehensive nursing knowledge, strong teamwork, and readiness for weekend/holiday/on-call work as needed. Current SC RN licensure and patient-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year RN experience.
• Current RN license recognized in the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans with patient/family.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals.
• Delegate tasks and supervise team as applicable.
• Ensure documentation and timely communication of patient status.
