Job summary

Team Recovery is seeking an experienced nurse to provide direct care for clients undergoing detox and treatment in an inpatient setting. The role emphasizes safety, monitoring, and medication administration within a multidisciplinary team.

The nurse will educate clients on medication management, relapse prevention, and recovery strategies while supporting families throughout the treatment journey. A strong commitment to confidentiality and compassionate care is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of LPN program required, certificate or diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor client health and withdrawal status.
• Administer medications as prescribed in inpatient setting.
• Educate clients on medication management and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including medical providers and therapists.
• Respond to emergencies and stabilize clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
• Offer emotional support to clients and families throughout recovery.
• Advocate for clients and uphold patient dignity and privacy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the medical/nursing department.
