Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse for a 19-bed medical unit in the Scranton area. You will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and coordinate care plans from admission through discharge.

The role requires nursing clinical excellence, teamwork, and the ability to educate patients and families while ensuring safety and adherence to policies. Mentorship and professional growth opportunities are available in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with respiratory devices, drains, tubes and trachs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, executing, and evaluating nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Developing and coordinating individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
• Administering treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests per policies.
• Evaluating intervention effectiveness and adjusting care accordingly.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and participating in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contributing to quality and safety initiatives and organizational metrics.
