Job summary

Virginia Mason Medical Center seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing services to hospitalized patients and guide them toward optimal health and recovery.

You will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor conditions while collaborating with physicians to develop comprehensive care plans. You will prepare patients and families for discharge and contribute to a patient-centered, compassionate care environment in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license.
• One year or more recent RN experience with acute care patients.
• CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
• Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, administer medications, and perform treatments.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
