Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients, guiding their recovery and discharge planning. You will assess needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor conditions in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.

The role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach to care to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.

Qualifications

• Active WA State RN license.
• At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.
• Current CPR certification; recertification every 2 years.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program approved by the WA State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and administer medications.
• Perform treatments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Prepare patients and families for discharge after hospitalization.
