Job summary

ChristianaCare West Grove Hospital is seeking an experienced Inpatient RN for the night shift (7pm-7am) in a fast-paced micro-hospital setting. The role requires critical drip management, cardiac rhythm recognition, and collaboration via Teams and Telemedicine.

Weekend and holiday rotation are expected to ensure safe staffing and patient care. Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, active RN licensure, 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, BLS/ACLS, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience (Telemetry/ICU) or related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances within last 5 years or before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, advanced nursing care for high-acuity patients.
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique during care.
• Collect labs and perform testing per policy and regulations.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers efficiently.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostics or treatments and assist as needed.
• Comply with nursing standards and hospital policies.
