Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years inpatient Respiratory Therapy management experience within an acute care hospital environment.
• Management experience must be at the Manager level.
• Adult inpatient Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• Level III NICU Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• Recent experience working within a union environment required.
• Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Appropriate national respiratory credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and operational management of inpatient Respiratory Therapy services.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Respiratory Therapists and department personnel.
• Establish performance expectations and coach for clinical, operational, and service standards.
• Monitor patient outcomes and promote evidence‑based practice.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, equipment, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing leadership to coordinate care.
