Qualifications

• Current RN license in GA (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient rehab nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and complex medical illnesses.
• Perform holistic assessments, develop and update individualized nursing care plans, and track progress toward functional goals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely while monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and case managers to coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, safety, and home care to support transition after discharge.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring equipment, services, and teaching are in place for safe return home.
• Monitor skin integrity, wound care, and implement fall and safety precautions.
