Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Therapy Aide to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Services, delivering a comprehensive treatment plan with an interdisciplinary team approach. This role is anticipated to be 36 hours per week and focuses on assisting therapy services for acute care patients under PT/OT direction.

The ideal candidate brings CNA certification with Idaho licensing, and BLS upon hire, with prior therapy aide experience or related coursework.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification issued by the State of Idaho, 2 years previous experience as a Therapy Aide or 2 years of college (any health occupation related courses) preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing therapy services to acute care patients under the direction of an occupational and/or physical therapy care team.
• Assist with department tasks that support the delivery of patient care.
