Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC in Evansville, IN is seeking an energetic Rehabilitation Technician to join our inpatient therapy team. This role supports therapists, maintains a safe, organized clinical environment, and offers observation hours for students.

Key duties include assisting with PT treatments, front office tasks, patient escort, and equipment prep; growth opportunities within a growing organization are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience
• Interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or physiology
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start; maintain proof
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift; lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong professionalism and ability to work independently or in a team; maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries or musculoskeletal conditions
• Monitor patients and support therapists; maintain a safe, organized environment and good customer service
• Front office tasks: greet patients, answer calls, assist registration, data entry, filing, and records upkeep
• Escort patients between locations as needed
• Keep treatment areas and equipment clean and organized
• Prepare patients, areas, equipment, and supplies; may perform laundry
• Inventory supplies and equipment
• Clean work areas before, during, and after shifts; support coworkers efficiently
