Job summary

HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital, an 88-bed acute care facility serving Lehigh Acres, Florida since 1965, is seeking a Rehab Services Manager. You will oversee patient assessment, therapy provision, staffing, equipment, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy or Occupational Therapy; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Current FL License
• Knowledge of State, Federal and TJC regulations; strong communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• You will ensure patient assessment and therapy is appropriate, accurate and patient specific.
• You will ensure documentation of care is timely, accurate, and complete.
• You will continually apply the principles of continuous quality improvement through monitoring, measuring, assessing, and reporting quality indicators and trends to improve patient outcomes or prevent patient injury.
• You will ensure that the department is compliance with all legal, regulatory and accrediting agencies, i.e., JCAHO requirements.
• You will use the occurrence reporting system and report trends to staff quarterly.
