Job summary

HCA Florida Largo West Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Manager to lead the rehab unit, ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care around the clock. You will drive nursing standards, coordinate care with physicians and teams, and implement quality programs to meet safety and service excellence goals.

The role requires RN licensure, ASN, BLS, and 3 years in acute care, with management certification within 6 months of eligibility; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• 3 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Management specialty certification required within 6 months of eligibility; unit specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the inpatient rehab unit on a 24-hour basis, ensuring safe, quality patient care.
• Ensure nursing practices, policies and procedures meet legal and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain continuity of care through interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Develop and implement programs to measure, monitor, and improve nursing care quality, aiming for core measures, patient safety, and service excellence.
• Coordinate patient care with other services and departments across the hospital.
