Job summary
AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, development and advancement criteria.
You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate families, coordinate with the care team, and document care in the medical record. Requires RN license; Associate's degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's preferred; BLS
Qualifications
- RN license required (Florida).
- Associate degree in Nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
- English fluency (read, verbal, written).
- Basic computer skills and ECG competency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and document outcomes.
