Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our 16-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Rehab nurses provide specialized care to patients with spinal cord injury or disease, acquired brain injury, stroke, amputation and other rehab diagnoses within an interdisciplinary team.

The schedule offers 36 or 40 hours weekly with 12- and 8-hour shifts and day/night rotation. Washington RN license and BLS are required; CRRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of current/recent acute care med-surg nursing experience.
• Inpatient rehab nursing experience and CRRN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to rehab patients including spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, tumor, amputation and neuromuscular/musculoskeletal conditions.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to care for patients and their families.
