Job summary

CornerStone Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Inpatient Rehabilitation contract in Plano, Texas. You will care for patients recovering from major surgeries and neurological conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas RN license, 2–3 years of nursing experience in inpatient rehab, and is comfortable working day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) for 36 hours per week with every other

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or compact.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience required.
• CRRN certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Care for patients recovering from hip and knee surgeries, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
• Monitor patient progress, assess clinical needs, and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support recovery goals.
• Administer medications and treatments while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, mobility, and independence throughout the rehabilitation process.
