Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Natrona Heights, PA, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the rehab team in our expanding inpatient unit. The PTA will implement therapy plans under a Physical Therapist's supervision and collaborate with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, PA licensure or eligibility, and a current driver’s license. The role supports complex medical, neurological, and orthopedic patient needs within a state-of-the-art unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligible.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
• Current state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy interventions based upon the plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital, and regulatory standards.
• Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement including mentoring new staff and participating in committees and educational offerings.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Education

Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or technical school
