Job summary

Parham Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) PRN to join our collaborative nursing team. You will assist with daily needs, vital signs, mobility, and personal care, supporting RNs and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or Fundamentals of Nursing course completed.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous acute patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
