Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist to join our team. You will evaluate patients, design personalized rehab plans, and collaborate with physicians to restore mobility and independence after illness or surgery.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and mentor therapy assistants while upholding our values of excellence and compassion within a large national network.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist credential required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and document outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices for independence.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding our values of excellence, compassion, and integrity.
