Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries and disabilities using standard OT procedures. You will educate patients and families, supervise staff, and contribute to program development to improve rehabilitation services.

This role requires current OT licensure, BLS, good communication, and a commitment to quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy services and develops care plans with goals based on assessments.
• Maintains patient records and handles billing in accordance with regulations.
• Communicates with patients, families, and care teams to coordinate care.
• Supervises assistants, aides, and students to ensure high-quality care.
• Participates in quality improvement and program development efforts.
• Engages in meetings and ongoing education to meet licensure requirements.
