Job summary

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement rehabilitation strategies in a brand-new facility featuring 60 private patient rooms and state-of-the-art therapy gyms.

Role focuses on maximizing independence in ADLs, IADLs, and productive activities, with emphasis on cognition and sensorimotor skills. The pay rate depends on experience and qualifications, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable).
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates and determines treatment strategies to maximize function in ADL/IADL, leisure, and productivity.
• Delivers and/or delegates services addressing psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components.
• Interventions to promote safety and performance in activities of daily living, work, and social participation.
