Sharp HealthCare is seeking an occupational therapy assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist. The role focuses on mobility and function impairment due to neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, or cardiopulmonary conditions.

Required qualifications include AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals and California Occupational Therapy Assistant license. The position involves collaboration with the department, documentation, and participation in CQI and student

Responsabilidades

• Participates in department activities such as CQI, staff meetings, and chart review.
• Ensures documentation is timely, complete, legible, and accurate in the EHR.
• Communicates patient care and departmental issues; supports scheduling changes as needed.
• Provides supervision and clinical direction to aides or student interns when required.
• Contributes to a major departmental project and participates in teaching or training activities.
