Job summary

Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to independently evaluate and treat patients, developing strategies to maximize daily function and participation. The role involves addressing cognitive and psychosocial aspects while delivering interventions across ADL, IADL, work, and leisure in a new, tech-enabled facility in Florida.

Minimum qualifications include active OT licensure and BLS certification; inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required (online certification not acceptable).
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and determine treatment strategies for rehabilitation.
• Deliver or delegate therapy services to maximize function in ADL, IADL, work, and leisure.
• Address psychosocial, cognitive, and sensorimotor dysfunctions to promote safety and performance.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely, quality care within specified timeframes.
