Job summary

OhioHealth Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Columbus, OH. This PRN/Per Diem night-shift role offers $19.00 per hour and a mission to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care to individuals with complex injuries and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, assisting with personal care, delivering meals, and supporting mobility and transfers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program.
• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.
