Job summary

Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO, seeks a caring Nurse Assistant for inpatient rehab on day shift. You will provide essential daily living support and basic nursing care to patients under supervision.

You will assist with meals, mobility, and monitoring of vitals, and maintain a safe, clean environment while communicating with the care team to ensure quality patient care.

Completion of a CNA program and BLS training are preferred to join this team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant course preferred. BLS training.
• Must be able to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Ability to monitor and document vitals and communicate changes to the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Explain procedures to patients and participate in instruction.
• Record intake/output and vitals accurately.
• Assist with meals and mobility; monitor and promote safety.
• Maintain patient environment and confidentiality; collaborate with care team.
