Job summary

CarePartners in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness or injury in a rehabilitation hospital setting.

You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, document progress, and educate patients and families on recovery milestones, safety, and self-care. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
• Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
• Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
• Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
• Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care
