Job summary

Exalt Health Rehabilitation Hospital Sarasota, LLC is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a PRN role in our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care, health teaching, and counseling to assigned patients during shifts, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

You will assist with patient assessments, vital signs, medication administration under RN supervision, ADL support, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses with patient assessments, vital signs, and basic nursing care.
• Support rehabilitation activities and ADLs with the care plan.
• Provide patient education and health counseling.
• Document care activities and observations under RN supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment and follow safety protocols.
