Job summary

Kindred Hospital Houston Medical Center in Houston, TX, seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician to provide inpatient rehabilitation coverage at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or other qualifying specialty.
• Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation coverage at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, case management and hospital leadership.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care to maximize functional recovery.
